i went to a gifted and talented conference yesterday where a woman spent an hour telling us that we had no way of knowing whether we existed or whether we were just an artificial grown consciousness for a computer simulation and just as everyone was convinced we did not exist she told us that because we were thinking about whether or not we existed, we had proved to ourselves that we did exist, because things that do not exist cannot think- and we were all thinking.
